Masala Resort

Logo for Masala Resort in Raches, Ikaria. The symbol is a small figure of stacked stones, like the cairns hikers build along the island's trails: rounded, irregular stones balancing on one another, echoing the dry stone walls of Ikaria. Below it, the name masala resort is set in lowercase letters with warm, slightly calligraphic serifs, and at the base the location RACHES IKARIA in widely spaced capitals, with a small pebble between the two words. The palette takes the colours of the place: deep navy, Aegean blue, earthy olive, the warm grey of stone, black and white. The symbol also stands on its own, for icons, stamps and social media.
